John Wilson and Sons Removals and Storage

Established over 80 years ago, John Wilson and Sons is a family-run business based in Beccles, Suffolk, providing professional domestic and commercial removal services across the UK. Currently led by James Fraser, the company employs a fully trained team to manage moves of all scales, ranging from single items and pianos to entire manor houses and sheltered accommodation. Their service area primarily covers Suffolk and Norfolk, though they facilitate relocations to any destination within the United Kingdom. To assist with the logistics of moving, they offer free estimates, the free use of boxes and packing materials, and a same-day moving service when required.

The company maintains vast, damp-proofed storage premises capable of holding unlimited household items, office furniture, and sensitive documents for short or long durations. Specialized services include full or partial house clearances, the disposal of unwanted items through Environment Agency-registered channels, and probate valuations. They prioritize accessibility by offering specific assistance for elderly or disabled clients who require help moving heavy items. Additional logistical support includes professional packing and unpacking, cleaning of fridges and freezers prior to storage, and the precise placement of furniture in the new property. The business operates Monday through Friday, ensuring that all items, including valuables and electrical appliances, are handled with experienced care during the transition.
