Second Circle Furniture

Established in 2003, Second Circle Furniture is a registered not-for-profit Social Enterprise and licensed waste carrier based in Wrexham. Operating under the umbrella of Second Furniture Recycling Centre Ltd, the organization provides comprehensive house clearance and commercial clearance services throughout Wrexham, Shropshire, Chester, Cheshire, the Wirral, and the North West. As a community-focused entity, the business specializes in the removal and redistribution of modern furniture and electrical items, aiming to divert usable goods from landfills while supporting those in need within the local community.

The organization offers free collections for saleable items and modern electrical goods, alongside professional services for full or part house clearances, including specialist bereavement clearances and decluttering. As a social enterprise, Second Circle Furniture utilizes its proceeds to provide employment and training opportunities for local community members with varying disabilities and individuals facing long-term unemployment. These initiatives offer practical work experience in a retail and logistical environment, fostering professional development and social inclusion.

In addition to clearance services, the business maintains a recycled furniture shop open seven days a week. This facility stocks a wide variety of pre-owned furniture and electrical appliances that have been inspected and prepared for reuse. By combining licensed waste disposal (Environment Agency Registration CBDL836) with a sustainable recycling model, Second Circle Furniture provides a functional solution for estate management and business relocations while maintaining a clear focus on environmental responsibility and community welfare.
