NuGen Recycling & Environmental Services

NuGen Recycling & Environmental provides professional domestic and commercial waste management solutions across Edinburgh, Falkirk, Livingston, the Borders, and Dunfermline. Based at the Midlothian Innovation Centre, the company specializes in house clearances, including sensitive bereavement clearances, void property clearing, and the removal of green waste from outbuildings and gardens. Their domestic services also encompass garage clearances and specialized cleaning tasks such as power washing for residential driveways and patios.

For commercial clients, the business offers comprehensive office clearances, property letting clearances, and renovation strip-outs. The company maintains a diverse fleet and equipment inventory to provide road sweeper hire and snow and ice gritting services, ensuring site maintenance during winter months. NuGen also facilitates skip hire and tonne bag hire for smaller renovation projects or ongoing waste needs. Their operations are designed to support various sectors, from retail unit decommissioning to handling large-scale warehouse clearances.

A primary differentiator for NuGen is their environmental commitment to Zero Waste to Landfill. As a licensed waste carrier, the firm ensures that 100% of collected items are recycled, upcycled, or repurposed. They provide duty of care waste transfer notes for all collections, adhering to ISO and Trusted Trader accreditations. The service model focuses on transparency, offering upfront quotes with no booking fees and invoicing only after the work is completed. Their in-house team handles everything from single-item pickups to full-scale property transformations, emphasizing sustainable waste management through responsible transfer stations.
